Sourcing, cleaning and curating all now done ✔️

Showroom has been busy from Friday morning and we are now open until next Monday 10am to 5pm 👍

Except Wednesday as I’m knocking off early to go and see Mama Mia in Glasgow 💃💃

New Stock gathered after a trip to Berkshire 😃

Sunny weather, collecting auction hauls and going to car boots….good times 🤩😎

Three big boxes collected from an online auction can’t wait to look through all that!

A great haul from Moss End car boot in Bracknell….never disappoints.

Tried out a new car boot at Walton-on-Thames but got there just as everyone was packing up!

It’s always worth looking though and sometimes being late means traders will give you good deals to save repacking things. I found a lovely old gent who was clearing out his studio pottery collection - some really nice items and I filled a whole bag!

Yesterday we took a day off.

It’s tempting to have the showroom open every possible hour but sometimes taking time out to recharge is necessary.

After a well stacked prawn roll we saw ‘s sign for her Gallery at The Ticket Office at the Crinan Canal Basin.

I realised I hadn’t actually paid it a visit this year so we headed over.

It is such a creative use of a small space which shows off her great work and has such lovely additions about the history of the canal plus little touches that make you want you feel very comfortable while you look through it all.

Definitely worth a visit 😃

For the next few weeks, I will be out and about sourcing all kinds of new stock….who knows what I will find! But it will...

For the next few weeks, I will be out and about sourcing all kinds of new stock….who knows what I will find!

But it will all be lovingly arranged and ready for you to peruse at my next two open weekends in August:

Fri 21st - Mon 24th
Fri 28th - Mon 31st

I’ll be having sporadic days in the workshop between now and then and will of course put the sign out when I’m open.
