Let's hope the sunny weather returns, so local residents can make the most of our recently installed outdoor gym at Ferndale!

Harlequin Playgrounds worked closely with Central Swindon North Parish Council to develop and install this scheme, and it's great to see it open to the public! Another local project we're proud to have delivered in Swindon!

Great to see the outdoor gym at Ferndale in the sunshine.

The site includes a range of free-to-use fitness equipment including:
• Cross trainer
• Ski walker
• Seated chest press
• Shoulder press
• Waist twister
• Sit-up bench
• Balance and step equipment

A brilliant local facility for anyone wanting to keep active outdoors while enjoying the green space and walking routes around the park. 💪🌳

You may have seen this park on our page, recently completed for Cainscross Town Council... we were tasked with giving the play area a facelift, within a set budget, and we'll be honest, we think it looks fantastic! We started by refreshing the surfacing with some super colourful banding and graphics, and then added some new, inclusive, sensory equipment - all of which has really boosted this play area and given it a new lease of life!

Now open for the local community to use, the area looks bright, fun and appealing, and packs a huge amount of play value for all abilities and ages!

This one is a throw back to earlier in March... we were honoured to be asked to speak at our own local parish council's Annual Parish Meeting, presenting about our work with them to develop a brand new outdoor gym for our local community. It was, as always, a pleasure to work with the Haydon Wick Council team! 👏 💛

It was a fantastic opportunity not just to talk about our work, but also to be a part of celebrating the achievements of the council and other individuals and organisations working to improve our local Haydon Wick community! 💕 🥰 🙌

🤩WOW, WHAT A WEEK IT'S BEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😍

We were very proud to unveil the final finished play area at our fantastic local family pub, The Sun Inn, Coate!

This stellar space-themed playground looks out of this world! 😍and we are absolutely delighted to have been appointed for this project by our wonderful client, Arkells Brewery. And not only that - we made front page news, with a fabulous feature in the Swindon Advertiser! 🥳👏🙌

Well done to all the team involved in this install, a great job was done by all as always! 🥰

It's been a busy start to the year, and we're pleased to have been appointed to install yet another outdoor gym in our local Swindon community! 🤩💪

Central Swindon North Parish Council have worked tirelessly to bring this fantastic community project to fruition, and we are delighted to have been appointed to undertake the works for them. ❤️

Well done to the Harlequin team for their hard work on the installation, which will be completed and the gym open and ready for use soon! 🥳

We're delighted to announce that construction of a new free-to-use outdoor gym for Ferndale has been completed this week and will open for use shortly.

The project was delivered by Swindon-based specialists, Harlequin Group, following months of planning by Ferndale Ward Councillors and the Leisure and Recreation Committee. This project was made possible through Councillor Ward Allowance funding, championed by Councillors Ana Fernandez, James Yeowell, and Sunny Patel.

We encourage all local residents to visit the Rec and make the most of this excellent new facility.

The Harlequin team are kicking off 2026 with a project that's out of this world! 👩‍🚀👽🌞🌛✨🚀

We're delighted to have been appointed by Arkells Brewery to undertake the installation of their new, space-themed play area at The Sun Inn, Coate!

This fantastic project has been a great opportunity for us to collaborate with one of Swindon's longest established and best-known businesses, and we can't wait to deliver this exciting new play area for the local community! For more updates, watch this space! 😍🤩👀

We're building a brand new SPACE-AGE children's playground here at The Sun! It won't be ready for lift off for a few weeks... but we promise it's gonna be a whole new galaxy of fun!

IT'S OFFICIAL!!!

The White Eagle Outdoor Gym had it's official launch this weekend, with a fantastic free community fitness event organised by Haydon Wick Council, hosted by experts from The Longevity Games!

It was great to see this project come to life, well done to all who took on the challenges and thanks to Haydon Wick Council for organising this great event! We hope that the gym will be enjoyed by all in the community. We love working with the parish councils in Swindon, and hope to be able to deliver many more outdoor sports and play facilities right here in our home town in the future!
