It's no secret that we love a great pub.
We've started working on brightening up local venues, making them stand out on the street, bringing biodiversity into the city and helping create a wonderful experience for customers and staff.

Our favourite days are planting days. This is where the planning, consulting, preparation and shopping all come together.
It's regularly discussed about the "right" plant, for example this selection is for clay soil and predominantly full sun. But the right plant also means the colours and shapes you want to bring to the garden as well as picking the best and healthiest plants available from the nursery.

We've been out shopping for a client in Cheltenham which we're looking forward to planting in a couple of weeks. One service we offer is that we'll personally go and select the best plants available on your behalf.
We believe that when designing a border it's important to first pick the best plant for the space but also equally important to pick the healthiest plant from the nurseries.

An important question to ask when wanting to design a section of your garden is what's inspired or impressed you? This scheme for example was from a client's holiday in Italy where they loved the plant selection.
In this case we researched the gardens and found a plant list, this meant we could go through and select what would be appropriate for their garden and also what's available to purchase at our local supplier.
If you want us to develop a planting scheme inspired by a garden you love we can research, review images or even visit with you to help us get the garden perfect for you.

Happy to say I've completed another hurdle on gaining my Master of Horticulture from the Royal Horticulture Society! Only my dissertation to go.
