A lot of preparation went into these exterior windows.
Years of wear meant they needed plenty of attention before they were ready for a fresh finish. From thorough preparation to the final coats, every stage was carried out with care and attention to detail.

Removing the old poorly previous coating to then needing to use the toupret glazing putty followed by oil base primer & undercoat finished in white gloss all dulux weather shield products.

A fresh lease of life for this front door! 🚪 and copy bars which had faded

This customer’s black composite front door had started to fail and lose its finish after years of exposure to the weather and down to been painted with a paint that wasn’t suitable for the surface so a heavy sand to remove flaking paint

They still loved the original colour, so instead of changing it, we professionally prepared the surface and resprayed it in the same burgundy, giving it a fresh, durable factory-style finish.

💡 A little fact that surprises a lot of people…

Some colours naturally fade faster than others in direct sunlight.

The biggest culprits are:
🔴 Red
⚫ Black
🔵 Blue

These darker, richer colours absorb more UV and heat, meaning they often require refinishing sooner than lighter shades.

A professional respray can restore the appearance for a fraction of the cost of replacement.

Is your front door looking tired or faded? Send me a message with a photo and I’ll happily let you know whether it’s suitable for spraying. Quotes are free, and I’d be happy to answer any questions.

These garage door was absolutely fine. It just didn’t fit where the property’s heading.

RAL 8015 in 10%

I get asked all the time, “Does it need replacing?”

Most of the time… no.

If the door’s sound, why spend thousands on a new one? A professional respray gives you that factory finish for a fraction of the cost and completely changes the look of the front of the house.

It’s funny how changing one thing can make everything else look newer.

If you’re wondering whether yours can be sprayed, send me a photo. I’ll tell you straight. If it needs replacing, I’ll say so. If it doesn’t, I’ll tell you that as well.

The full exterior was carefully prepared, including all the windows, porch, doors, fascia boards and garage door. The existing coating was extremely brittle and rubber-like, so it all had to be sanded back and the affected areas taken right back to bare timber before being thoroughly cleaned and prepared.
Because some areas were back to bare, we needed to go one shade darker than the original colour to achieve a consistent, uniform finish across the whole property.
