Recent garden transformation completed in Congleton.

This space has been turned from an unused, uneven garden into a clean, practical outdoor area with porcelain paving, artificial grass, drainage detail and a much more accessible finish.

For the patio, we used Luna Ash 1200 x 600 porcelain from Paving Stones Direct UK Ltd , a beautiful tile that gives the space a clean, modern finish.

The artificial lawn was supplied by Cheshire Artificial Grass using Tatton 45, giving the garden a fresh, low-maintenance finish all year round.

A simple, practical layout, finished with care from start to completion.

Lead Landscape Installer
Alsager, Cheshire
£21.50 - £25.50 per hour
Full-time | PAYE | Monday to Friday

AMS Landscapes Cheshire Ltd is looking for an experienced Lead Landscape Installer to join our team.

This is a practical, hands-on role for someone who is already confident in high-quality hard landscaping and wants to be part of a growing company delivering premium garden projects across Cheshire, Staffordshire and South Manchester.

We are not looking for a project manager or someone to run the business.

We are looking for a strong installer who can lead by example on site, take pride in the work, help keep jobs moving, and produce a high standard of finish.

The role will include:

• Porcelain and natural stone paving
• Setting out, levels, falls and drainage
• Groundworks and sub-bases
• Sleeper work, raised beds and retaining features
• Fencing, gates and timber work
• Turfing, artificial grass and finishing work
• Working alongside and helping guide other members of the team
• Keeping sites clean, organised and professionally presented

The right person will:

• Have strong hard landscaping experience
• Be confident on the tools
• Take pride in neat, high-quality workmanship
• Be reliable, professional and trustworthy
• Be able to work from measurements, drawings and instructions
• Have good attention to detail
• Be able to think ahead on site
• Hold a full UK driving licence

Package:

• £21.50 - £25.50 per hour depending on experience and proven ability
• Full-time PAYE employment
• Paid holiday
• Company workwear provided
• Tools and equipment provided
• Company vehicle and work phone available during working hours where required
• Monday to Friday
• 07:30 start from our Alsager base
• Normal working hours are 07:30-16:30, with winter hours adjusted where required due to daylight and weather
• 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Weekend work is not normally required and would only take place by prior agreement
• Performance bonuses available for the right person

Applicants must be able to provide examples/photos of previous landscaping work.

A paid practical trial may be offered to shortlisted candidates.

This role would suit someone who wants a long-term position with a growing landscaping company, without the stress of pricing jobs, finding work, or managing customers alone.

A brand-new transformation underway on the Woodland Manor Estate, Congleton. 🏡

This project will see us completely transform both the front and rear of the property, creating a clean, modern outdoor space designed to complement the home.

At the front, we’ll be extending and reworking the driveway using matching block paving to create a seamless finish with the existing installation.

To the rear, the transformation includes:

• Large-format 1200 x 600 Luna Ash porcelain paving
• Premium artificial grass
• A dedicated hot tub area
• A newly constructed step from the patio doors
• Full preparation, levels and groundwork throughout

A great combination of materials that will give this garden a sharp, contemporary finish.
