Due to continued growth, Devon Leadwork & Roofing Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced and skilled Roofer with strong Leadwork and GRP roofing experience to join our team.

We are seeking a motivated individual who takes pride in their workmanship, can work independently when required, and is equally comfortable working as part of a professional team.

# # The Role

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a variety of roofing works, including:

* Leadwork to a high standard
* GRP flat roofing installations
* Slating and tiling repairs and renewals
* Roof maintenance and repairs
* Guttering, fascias and soffits
* General roofing works on domestic, commercial and heritage properties

# # Essential Requirements

* Proven experience in roofing, leadwork and GRP roofing
* High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
* Ability to work on your own initiative
* Strong team-working skills
* Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
* Excellent punctuality and reliability
* Calm, polite and professional demeanour when dealing with clients and members of the public
* Reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude
* Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays when required to meet programme demands

Another successful project completed in Rose Ash!

Our client contacted us after experiencing failing render on both chimney stacks and persistent water ingress from the left-hand chimney.

Following a full inspection, we removed all defective render back to the original brickwork and blockwork before installing new lead flashings where required to ensure a long-lasting, watertight finish.

Both chimney stacks were then re-rendered using a traditional 5:1:1 render mix, finished with a stipple texture and carefully painted to blend seamlessly with the existing property.

It’s upsetting to see stories like this. Not only have these homeowners lost thousands of pounds, but they’ve also been left with unfinished work and the stress of finding someone else to put it right.
