Hypervolt Home 3 Pro charger installed in Maidenbower this afternoon. Nice not having to add a secondary consumer unit for a change, just an RCBO and SPD required for this one and a short cable run too which was welcome given the heat today!

Back in Slaugham this afternoon, completing the electrical work in this custom greenhouse. weatherproof socket, fused spur and switch from Scolmore International with galvanised conduit as requested by my customer, plus 2 light fittings supplied by the greenhouse company, all with IP68 connections. Had a visitor while finishing up!

Back to Smallfield today to finish up the bathroom job I’ve previously uploaded photos of (well the niche lighting anyway). shaver point installed and mirror cabinet wired up, plus new extractor and, as ceiling depth was an issue, 4 ROBUS low profile downlights with switchable wattage and colour. The homeowners also have had a light tunnel installed as part of the bathroom refurb which has transformed a dark room with no windows

Another today, the old Wylex unit was well overdue an upgrade. Those with a keen eye will spot I also installed a new shower circuit, which was the main reason for the new FuseBox board. The bathroom refit includes the shower plus lighting so the addition of RCD protection was a must

Was twisting and soldering t&e ever the “done thing”? I’ve only seen it a handful of times, once was this week which made fault finding much more awkward than it needed to be!

More progress at Miracle Detail yesterday. 3 walls of LED floodlights and LED strips on 2 walls of the dry ice cleaning bay! Light from every angle to help clean even the most awkward to reach spaces

Another major milestone for the new Miracle Detail studio.

Our dedicated dry ice cleaning bay is now complete, purpose-built to deliver the highest standard of underbody, chassis, suspension and engine bay cleaning. Dry ice cleaning removes decades of dirt, grease, road grime and contaminants while preserving original finishes, making it the ideal solution for classic cars, collectors’ vehicles, supercars and concours preparation.

To take protection even further, we can also apply our industrial-grade underbody coating, helping preserve your vehicle for years to come.

Just the loading ramp to install now, and the bay will be fully operational.

This has been a huge project, and we’re looking forward to welcoming the first vehicles through the doors.

Another day at Miracle Detail, and more lights! 2nd wall of LED strips installed, plus the 2 walls of floodlights and first set of hex lights can now also be controlled by Shelly Pro 1EM din modules and the app… more to come for the other lighting zones. I’ve also relocated the 3 phase compressor from the old unit into the new studio. I’ve lost count of how many lengths of conduit I’ve already installed and we’re not done yet!
