This summer has highlighted the importance of even a simple irrigation system installed with your new planting.

It is widely believed to be two full growing seasons for your planting to be considered established enough to manage without irrigation support. With the changes to our climate this may well increase.

It is an important way of protecting your investment and if installed correctly allows your plants and garden to develop as intended.

This drip line system is as simple as it gets, automated with zones and a timer to ensure your plants get what they need, where they need it and without waste.

Paired with mulch to help keep your soil temperatures consistent, weeds down and prevent the precious water evaporating before it reaches the roots these simple systems often work the best.

Planted by , all irrigation materials and support from and mulch and soils from .

If you need help planting and an irrigation system installed drop us a message, we’d love to help!

Our maintenance teams are turning their attention to our garden’s structure and form once more.

As our summer starts to look autumnal, we are beginning to cut back and re-form some of the plants in the gardens we care for.

This regaining of structure always feels great and is a perfect time to start thinking about what we will be doing in our gardens over the next few months in preparation for our next spring!

If you’d like to work with us on your gardens care and development, drop us a message to start the conversation.

We’re pretty good at showing what goes into our builds as they happen, but we’ve noticed we don’t show many completed.

So that’s exactly what we are going to do!

Over the next few weeks Olly will be visiting some of these gardens to show you how they look once we’ve left and handed the space back to you.

This one was one of our favourites from this year and was designed by the fantastic .
