Our latest bespoke garden room is being built as a private home gym, where structural strength and thermal efficiency are essential.

With heavy gym equipment in mind, we recommended a reinforced C40 concrete raft foundation, featuring a 100mm slab with a thickened 300mm perimeter to support the entire structure.

Combined with 100mm high performance PIR insulation, this provides a strong, thermally efficient foundation designed for year round comfort.
