Time to post photos of our latest installation, this time in our own house. Almost three months to the day from moving in and we finally have a beauty of a Jøtul 105 wood burner in the lounge. Managed to keep the cast iron surround but gone is the leaky and wildly inefficient open fire. We love putting a modern twist alongside more period features. Of course we have lined the chimney with a Poujoulat liner and cowl and all set on top of a custom cut slate hearth.

Those that know Jess and I will know we recently moved into a new home. Built in 1927 it’s going to need a little love to get it to the standard we like. So Jess has created an Instagram page for our “money pit” feel free to watch the antics and eventually a fully finished and warm home. 🏡 😊
