Happy Sunday

Just posting a quick availability update.

I am fully booked for Oct and most of Nov. I have a few appointments left for end of Nov/start of Dec.

I have a cancellation list but this would always be last minute so if you are flexible, I can add you to it 😀

The best method of contact is via WhatsApp or text - 07989 664791

It would be really helpful if you would let me know the following information in your message:

Type or fire - open or log burner?

If log burner- does it have a chimney liner? (To meet regulations- log burners fitted after 2010 have to be fitted with a chimney liner).

Name & Address

I’ll aim to respond to your message at the end of the working day…..if not before 😊

Thanks Kate

Happy Tuesday everyone 😊

I am currently confirming all my September/October appointments. Dependant on how you originally contacted me, you will receive a text, WhatsApp or messenger message to confirm your 2026 appointment date and time. Please would you respond via return message to confirm all is ok with date and time? 😊

My availability is very limited but if you have a pre-booked appointment, I will try, where possible to move you to an alternative date/time if required.

For any new customers, I am fully booked until the start of November!

There are still some Nov and Dec dates currently available.

I have started the cancellation list so anyone booking a later appointment can be added to the list but hopefully you are flexible as there is no guarantee of a slot and it would generally be last minute.

Thanks for all your support in growing my business.

Look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Kate 😊

Normally I would be posting to say ‘now the burning season is over, it’s time to get your chimney swept’. However today’s weather may be making you think twice about closing your stove down for summer! 🔥 🥶

As you can see from the photos, lots of customers have already had their stoves swept.

Here’s a couple of top tips for putting your stove to bed over the summer months.

* Keep your air vents slightly open to prevent the build up of condensation inside your stove.

This will keep airflow moving through your stove and flue pipe. It will also reduce the risk of rust.

* Remove fans off top of stoves - again this prevents condensation and rust (I learnt the hard way on this one) 😂

Here’s hoping the sun will be back soon 😎
