🌳 3 years of Habitat Tree Care 🌳

Three years ago today, I took the leap into self-employment. It was pretty nerve-wracking, and there were plenty of moments early on where I questioned if I was making the right decision.

Fast forward to today, and I’m looking at my own truck with my business name on it, and a wood chipper ready for the next job! The diary is full, and I’ve never been busier!

I’m forever grateful for all of my customers who trust us with their tree & hedge work, and recommend us to their friends and family 🙏

I’m incredibly proud of how far this business has come, and I can’t wait to see how it continues to grow and evolve in the future.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the journey so far! 🌳🚛 💪🏼

A few photos from the last few days 📸

We have been taking down two dead Sycamore trees for a care home in Coventry.

The trees were unsafe to climb and access was awkward, so we decided to use a narrow access spider cherry picker to carry out the work safely.

Before & After photos of a Whitebeam removal from today.

This tree had completely taken over the lamp post and was causing damage to the nearby wall, so the customer opted to have it removed.

Before & After photos of a Yew tree which we carried out some work on last week.

We carried out a crown lift, as well as pruning back some of the larger lower branches to provide a nice overall shape, allow more light to pass through, as well as keeping the tree from encroaching on to the neighbours property 🌳

Before & After photos of a large Willow clear up that we completed today 🌳

The main focus for now was to clear the side that had fallen across the lawn. The plan is to deal with the side in the woods later in the year as it is less of a concern at the minute.

All of the timber has been cut & stacked in the customers barn, ready to be seasoned & split for winter 🔥

It was a real hard slog today in the 35 degree heat but we managed to get the job done 👌🏼
