Battling the wind and rain today, but that hasn’t stopped progress! 💪🌧️

The garden room base is now fully framed and insulated. Next up, 22mm Weathershield flooring before we start getting the walls up on this beast!

Coming together nicely! 🔨🏡

A bit of a different post from me today.

Last Friday, I had a nasty accident at work involving a table saw and the fingers on my left hand. Not something I’d ever wish to repeat, that’s for sure!

I’m not posting this for sympathy, but more to give a massive shoutout to the three lads who have kept the ship afloat this week. 👏

We started a new project on Monday, and it certainly wasn’t an easy one to kick off without me being hands-on. Lots of setting out, technical drainage work, operating plant machinery and plenty of important decisions to make. All things I’d normally be heavily involved in and overseeing myself.

But the lads have absolutely stepped up to the mark. They’ve cracked on, worked together, made the right calls and kept everything moving forward without missing a beat.

I managed to get back on site today to check over the drainage and see how everything was progressing, and I couldn’t be happier with what they’ve achieved.

When you run your own business, it’s not always easy having to take a step back and put your trust in others, especially when you’re used to being involved in everything. But this week has reminded me just how lucky I am to have the team I do.

So a massive thank you to the lads. You’ve done yourselves and the company proud, and I genuinely appreciate it. 💪

A good business is only as strong as the people behind it, and this week you’ve certainly proved that.

Now to get these fingers healed up! 😂🪚
