We have been waiting patiently to show this project off!
It isn't quite finished yet, there is still some landscaping to go - but WOW!!

We were tasked with creating an annexe off the existing triple garage. Two sections of the garage have been retained as garage space with the third section becoming the bedroom area.
We had to step this wrap-around
extension to stay within the stand-off distances of a big water main that runs through the plot. This pushed us down an avenue that helped us to tick a lot of boxes when it comes to what the planners would look for - We effectively created four stepped box sections following the line of the water main which 'broke the lines' and we 'added interest' by having overhanging roof sections with a parapet section where the lounge is situated.
Black 'Cedral' fibre-cement cladding has been adopted for the external finish - offering a modern, classy look while being very low maintenance.
The internal space is bright, modern, and very cozy with a stunning kitchen, lovely lounge area with lots of natural light and nice outlook to the private garden areas.

Completion APPROVED!!! 🙌🙌🙌

This project has now been signed off as completed and it has been a real experience from start to finish.
A tired, cold, and run-of-the-mill bungalow was stripped back to the bare bones and totally transformed into this stunning modern home with an imposing rear extension and the entire property reconfigured and provided with classy touches throughout - from the slick automated shower controls to the automatic lighting and feature LED lighting throughout (both inside and out on the garden area), and the impressive feature mirror set up in the hall - This home is an absolute showstopper!

The scope of works also included a large garage/store area, big enough to house a motorhome over the winter months.

The property also boasts a dedicated plant room within the new front porch style extension to house the numerous components attributed to an air source heat pump, solar panels, and battery storage. This is now one of, if not, the most efficient we have come across, and it is definitely not cold anymore!!

We are really pleased with how this project has turned out and here are some additional pictures of the finished property.

• Installing new windows and doors
• UPVC window preparations
• Ensuring job is completed to a high standard

Here are some pictures following the recently posted video of a completed garage conversion and porch extension along with a lovely review from the client.

The clients had a clear vision of what they were hoping to achieve for the space. A lot of garage spaces are not adequate for storing a vehicle in and typically get used as a big storage space. The clients wanted to make use of the garage as a habitable extension to their main dwelling. We worked towards getting the most out of the space to create a stunning self-contained apartment!

This project went really well from start to finish and the Building Warrant was actually assessed and approved by Building Standards in only 10 DAYS, which is probably the quickest turnaround we have ever experienced.
