What a cracking morning to be out and about! ☀️⛳
We were up bright and early this morning setting up the East Riding Pest Management stand, and we certainly couldn’t have asked for better weather!
As proud sponsors of a local golf club, it was great to get out there, show our support and spend the morning chatting about the pest management services we provide to homes and businesses across the region.
A gorgeous blue sky, a fantastic setting and a lovely way to spend the morning.
We’re always pleased to support local clubs, businesses and the communities we work in.

We were recently called out to a local children’s play venue after a wasp nest was discovered on the premises.
With children and families using the venue, it was important to get the problem dealt with quickly and safely.
The nest was located, professionally treated and the risk taken care of.
Wasps can choose all sorts of places to build their nests, and sometimes you won’t notice them until activity suddenly increases.
If you’re seeing a lot of wasps around your home or business, there could be a nest nearby.

A very busy wasp nest! 🐝
We recently attended this extremely active wasp nest in Swanland.
The video really shows the level of activity around the nest entrance and just how busy an established wasp colony can become at this time of year.
The nest was successfully treated by East Riding Pest Management.
If you have a wasp nest at your home or business and require professional treatment, please get in touch with our team.

🐝 Not all wasp nests are easy to spot… 🐝

Our team recently attended a call-out where a customer had noticed a mark appearing on their ceiling.

Thinking it was unusual, the customer gently pressed the area — only to discover wasps coming through from above!

The nest had been hidden within the ceiling, with the wasps making their way into the property through a small opening.

Our technician safely treated the nest and removed the problem, leaving the customer with peace of mind.

If you notice increased wasp activity, unusual marks, or sounds coming from ceilings, lofts or walls, don’t ignore it — there could be a hidden nest nearby.

🐝 Wasps causing a buzz? We can help! 🐝

As the weather warms up, wasp activity starts to increase — and those nests that seemed harmless in spring can quickly become a problem.

Wasps can build nests in roof spaces, wall cavities, sheds, trees, and even underground, often close to homes and businesses. If left untreated, they can become aggressive and pose a risk to your family, employees, customers, or visitors.

At East Riding Pest Management, our trained technicians can safely locate and treat wasp nests, helping you get back to enjoying your outdoor spaces without the unwanted guests.

✅ Fast response times
✅ Safe and effective treatments
✅ Domestic & commercial pest control solutions

Don’t let wasps take over your summer — get in touch today for expert help.
