Wow…. It’s not every day you see a beast like this! Absolute beauty going back in the wall… see its head pop out the gap at the top?

We think it’s a rare Smooth snake, not found very often in the UK… does anyone know? Whatever beautiful specimen it is, the team were in awe and respectfully kept their distance and observed.

Any snake experts out there? The CEO would have loved it. Would you love this in your garden?

Love pruning Topiary…. Who knew! 😂 years ago, I used to fear it, worrying I would damage them or get it wrong… 8 years in and I now find it hugely satisfying and a great job to do. Good thing too… won’t be long before we go back to the epic National Trust Cantax House to prune various whales; women and lion’s 😂

September heralds the arrival of our favourite season…. Autumn and also Bulb planting season! Crispy leaves under foot; golden sunlight and ever increasing colder blue skies (hopefully some frosty ones like in the past!)

It’s also tinged with sadness as the CEO starts his final year at Primary School. One more day thanks to a school staff training day.

It’s been the hardest summer for our team and our gardens with relentless heat and we are hoping for an Autumn that resembles those in the 80s where sunlight and beauty see us into the darker season ahead 🎄

The images coming out through social media and the press are just incomprehensible and the scale of the recovery of loved ones is starting to become apparent with awful scenes
unfolding.
