What a glorious weekend..

I took full advantage to make hay while the sun shines 🌞

When you’re painting a brand new, high end kitchen, there’s absolutely no room for mistakes.

Every surface carefully protected, every edge meticulously cut in, and not a single drop of paint where it shouldn’t be. Just crisp, clean walls to finish off this stunning space.

Another job where the attention to detail makes all the difference

This lovely house on the corner in St Issey was in need of a good tidy, especially being so close to a busy main road where keeping the outside clean can be a real challenge.

Just a scrub and touch up on the white and new black paint around the bottom, clean gutters, drain pipes and windows.

Really happy with how it has turned out.

Fresh white walls with a black plinth… because apparently I’m committed to the black and white theme at this point.

Slowly getting through the list and trying to get as many exteriors looking fresh as possible before autumn arrives

One house at a time… and plenty more to get through

Making the most of the last summer warmth

A beautiful extension transformed with a fresh coat of paint. And we all love a good before & after

There’s something so magical about seeing a colour completely transform a space.

This is Zoffany’s Half Harbour Grey, and although it looked quite dark when I first started, this room can absolutely take it, and I’m so glad the customer went for it.

The depth and warmth it’s brought to the room has completely changed the feel of this home. It’s proof that sometimes the colours that look a little daring on the paint card are the ones that create the most beautiful spaces.

It may feel like I’ve been painting nothing but bathrooms lately..

This is the penultimate bathroom in this beautiful home, and I am really happy with how it has turned out. Just waiting for the electrician to finish off the lighting and it’ll be all done.

The floor has come up beautifully and, judging by the quality of it, should comfortably see another couple of generations through.

A pleasure to work on, and I promise, the next post won’t be another bathroom… probably.

I never get tired of a crisp, bright white bungalow with a freshly painted black base.

This one has had a beautiful makeover, and with the sun shining, it really shows off just how fresh and striking a simple colour combination can be.

Small space, but what a difference..

A couple before & afters from this latest bathroom, proof that you don’t always need a big space to make a big impact.

What do you think of the transformation?

A beautiful lime-rendered property in the heart of St Teath. You might recognise it, I recently painted the house next door.

This one wasn't quite as straightforward, though. Before I could even get the brushes out, it needed some serious repair work after a lorry backed into it. Thankfully, it's now looking as it should, with its striking black base and crisp white walls.

I've said it before, and I'll happily say it again, St Teath is such a lovely village. Everyone is so positive, friendly and appreciative of a job done well, and the café is still my favourite in North Cornwall. It's always a pleasure working here.

If you're one of those positive, happy people who appreciates quality workmanship and takes pride in your home, I'd love to hear from you. Get in touch to discuss your next decorating project.
