Kitchen floor completed. 🔥

Client supplied porcelain stone grey tiles.

This floor had part concrete substrate and part wood.

The wood floor had lots of movement so i lifted parts of it and strengthened with 2x4 glued and screwed. Then cement boarded that area.

Self levelled the whole floor.

An expansion grout line was placed when tiling where the 2 different substrates meet using a colour match silicone to give flexibility and avoid any tiles cracking.

This can cause a lot of issues when people ignore this process. So very important it’s carried out.

Tiles are a 600x400 porcelain grey stone.
Taupe grout

All kick boards removed, trimmed and fitted back.

I have to say how thankful I am when my hard work is appreciated by clients. It’s not easy running a business at times. Especially when you are a one man band. It takes a lot of effort in all areas of the business to complete jobs to a high standard. While also maintaining respect for the clients home.
Thanks again 😌

I had the pleasure of completing this bathroom for a lovely lady.

She needed the bath out and a low level shower put in place for easy access. It looks fantastic.

It was a tricky one getting all wastes below floor level as sometimes many factors to consider. But very pleased I managed for her.

• Floor, once boarded was self levelled as to much of a fall one end.
• Non slip shower tray.
• New Suite throughout.
• Ceramic tiles to walls. 600x300mm Matt finish.
• Mid grey grout.
• LVT to the floor. 600x300mm
• New down lights and extractor fan.
• Mira Electric shower. 🚿
• LED mirror 🪞
• Clad ceiling.
