🔥 Blue Sky Gardens latest project 🔥

This project in Marple, Stockport, was completed just before Christmas. We can’t wait to call back in the Spring when we will be doing some more work for these amazing clients ❤️

Some before and after pics. As you can see, the garden was run down and didn’t do the property justice!

⭐️ Raised Patio ⭐️

Here are some pictures of a job we completed in earlier this year!

The retaining wall was already in place so we came in with the brief of creating a patio leading out from the extension and wrapping around the house.

For this project we used Indian stone 900 x 600 and prewar Cheshire brick for the steps to match up to the house.

A thoroughly enjoyable project and great clients to work for and Kate 🙌🏻 Thank you for the work and all the brews! Much appreciated.

⭐️Evening everyone! ⭐️

👏🏽 job we recently completed in Cheadle 👏🏽

The garden before we started was just wasted space as they couldn’t use or enjoy the area!

To complete this install we used
-900x600 county lite grey porcelain tiles (Cheshire sandstone) ✅
- charcoal cobbles (benchmark building supplies) ✅
- brand new lawn (lindows turf) ✅
- Railway sleepers ( Tomlinson parbans) ✅

❤️ More pics from the recent job in Bredbury 👌🏻

From a completely overgrown jungle to a beaten mix of contemporary and traditional materials 👍🏻

Porcelain flagstones ✅
Meadows cobble stones ✅
Railway sleeper planters and planting scheme ✅
Rebuilt stone wall with rebar and wall ties to ensure the retaining wall which was originally falling down into the public pathway, stays upright and solid ✅
Gravel soakaways ✅
All fences and planters painted ✅
All window sills painted ✅
Outhouse cleaned out, door sanded and re hung to open outwards ✅
House wall rendered (work done by Sean Mcconnell) ✅
Electrical work, lights and sockets (work done by Jake Mcconnell) ✅

✅ Another job complete in Offerton, Stockport ✅

- 6ft ‘Venetian’ slatted fence ✅

- Tongue and groove driveway gates ✅

- Brenton bolt, drop bolts, hook and band hinges and Euro lock with keys ✅

The garden was previously completely open.

Our brief:

Erect the slatted fence the length of the driveway and install driveway gates, creating a secure front garden with enough raised to fit cars through.

Job done and another very happy client!

⭐️⭐️ YES THIS IS THE SAME GARDEN!! ⭐️⭐️

From an overgrown jungle to a beautiful mix of contemporary and traditional landscape 💯

We finally got this one over the line after the weather caused some delays - but safety and quality come first always!

- Complete rip out and excavation ✅
- Removal of dangerous/leaning retaining wall ✅
- Strengthening of foundations after discovering a 3ft hole disappearing down near the back door ✅
- Installation of railway sleeper beds and planting scheme ✅
- New drains/grids ✅
- Porcelain patio with cobble edges and pattern ✅
- Gravel soakaways for extra drainage ✅
- Stone wall rebar into footings and rebuilt ✅
- Fence reattached and all panels painted ✅
- Back wall rendered ✅
- Lighting installed into beds and outhouse ✅
- Outhouse door removed, sanded, trimmed to size and hung on the opposite side, enabling it to open outwards ✅

Front garden also landscaped - pictures in following post!

Rendering done by Sean McConnell who we liaise with for any rendering/plastering jobs - brilliant tradesman 💯

Lighting installed by Jake McConnell who we liaise with for electrical work - great sparky 💯

Just a quick post demonstrating the effect jet washing, re pointing and sealing your patio can have.

Along with a few other small jobs, we went back to this property in to power wash, repoint and seal the patio installed by the original landscapers. As you can see, not sealing a natural stone patio can see a big build up of dirt/grime etc.
