HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!! 🥳 🎂
Bacon and Crerar turn five years old today (well yesterday technically)
As we look back over five years of of some of the most fantastic projects local architects and clients had to offer, we consider ourselves very lucky to have been trusted with so many people’s journey.
In 2021 after years of being self employed sole traders and off the back of a global pandemic (yea, sounds mental when you put it like that) we decided to roll the dice and set up a limited company and throw caution to the wind…….
its been far from plain sailing or easy, the lessons you learn going from being a sole trader doing an annual tax return to being a limited, vat registered company that employs people would be enough to, at times, make you question why you gave up that cushy life fitting the odd kitchen and hanging a few doors in the first place…………….corporation tax, vat returns, CIS returns, domestic vat reversals, paye and pension contributions and a whole host of other things that, having left school at sixteen to hammer nails into wood, was uncharted territory for us.
All the while still striving to deliver quality construction services to our clients.
We hope we have done that over the years and we will continue to make it our sole objective as a company.
We’ve attached just some photos of the massive variation of projects we’ve done in that time and as we look back at the photos in the cold light of day, it feels like we’ve definitely done something right! Along side our dedicated team of local sub-contractors we think the results have been immense.
Finally, we want to say a huge thank you to all of our customers, past and present.
Many of whom we consider friends, for trusting us with your work. Whether it was the grandest of house builds or a small bespoke piece, its all meant the world to us.
So here’s to the next five years, the ground we’ve yet to break, and the clients we’ve yet to meet.
