Profile:-

A passion to be involved in projects from inception through to completion means that sensitive, contextual responses are a given. We operate across a range of sectors for a diverse variety of clients. Time is taken to give careful consideration to each project regardless of scale or budget, allowing and helping our clients to develop their brief so that it will clearly define their objectives and requirements, resulting in schemes that produce excellent value and ensure client satisfaction. The practice strives for simple, well thought out design that delivers buildings and spaces that are both personal and individual as well as being excellent value in terms of controlling cost and programme- a happy client is paramount to our success. Ultimately it is our desire to deliver enjoyment for the end user as well as contribute to a sense of place. Underlying all of this is the need for sustainability through design and in the day to day running of the practice. Experience:-

• Hands on in all aspects of the design process and project management from initial meetings with the client through to handover.

• Preparation of drawings from existing surveys and site analysis to concept sketches, planning applications, building control applications, tender drawings and specifications as well as site supervision.

• Interaction with statutory bodies, consultants and contractors throughout the design and building process providing administration and coordination with the client, within the project team and with contractors.

• Will carry out all contract administration including chairing meetings with clients & contractors; drawing up contracts, monitoring and reporting progress of projects including issue of valuations and architects instructions.

• Utilising CAD to optimise 3D modelling and interactive presentations.

From Monday 3rd June 2024, Ards and North Down Borough Council’s Planning Service will be issuing its decisions in digital format only; hard copy decisions will no longer be printed and posted to the planning agent or applicant.

Instead, agents will be emailed the unredacted version of the decision notice. The drawings referred to in the decision notice, along with a redacted version of the decision notice, will be available to download or print from the NI Planning Portal: https://planningregister.planningsystemni.gov.uk/simple-search

For Certificates of Lawfulness, which are not viewable on the NI Portal, the unredacted decision and associated certified drawings will be emailed to the applicant/agent.

Blue sky site visit this morning! Next step exterior mouldings and render… drop the scaffold. Internally the stair design was selected and confirmed by client…. Heat pump on shortly… then tiling and finishing.
