We’re hiring: Heating Installer.

We’re looking for an experienced heating installer to join GHR.

We specialise in air source heat pump and air conditioning installations across the domestic and commercial market throughout North Wales.

Strong plumbing and heating experience and current ACS qualifications are essential. Heat pump & AC experience is an advantage, but not essential.

Full-time, permanent position.

Good pay and conditions package available for the right applicant.

The heating installs are quickly ramping up after a summer of cooling installs.

This week we have been in Penmaenmawr retrofitting this property with 16kw Midea r32 air source heat pump and a whole load of new radiators and a new 250L pressurised water tank.

Quite a high heat loss property and a whole load of 10mm to deal with but we have accounted for all of this in the design and coupled with a new Tesla power wall and solar array from our friends at JCW Electrical Services this should still be a highly efficient system.

AIR CON STOCK SITUATION UPDATE

If you’re waiting for an air conditioning installation, or we’re due back to finish off a few final bits, here’s a quick update.

The UK is currently experiencing a nationwide shortage of air conditioning equipment and related materials. At the moment we’ve got well over a dozen systems on back order, with stock arriving in dribs and drabs. Unfortunately there’s no real pattern to it either - one week we’ll get some indoor units and no outdoors or vice versa

Please bear with us. If you’re waiting for equipment, rest assured your system will arrive eventually and we’ll get it installed as soon as it lands.

Likewise, if you’re waiting for trunking parts, covers or any of the little finishing bits, we haven’t forgotten about you. Those seemingly insignificant pieces are proving just as elusive as the air conditioning units themselves. Trust us, we’d much rather have them fitted than a bunch of ‘almost finished’ jobs.

Thanks to everyone who’s been so patient. We know it’s frustrating, but we’re just as keen to get every job completed as you are.

First stage of a full air 2 air conversion in Bethesda. Customer wants to heat and cool the house with an air to air system which is obviously tricky for the hot water generation so we specified a hot water tank with a built in r290 heat pump that heat the water tank. A neat solution for water generation with air 2 air systems.
