It’s a great feeling to see a new machine arrive in MWT livery and today it got even better with the arrival of two brand new Kobelco excavators from Molson Equipment. These machines will not be here long as they are already allocated to sites from tomorrow. Our continued investment in new equipment insures we can undertake our works safely and efficiently while providing our clients with the reliability they have learned to expect from MWT😀🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

We were delighted to welcome a group of children from Ysgol Llanllyfni to our Sappers Bridge site yesterday through Reaching Wider North & Mid Wales Partnership. 👷‍♂️🌉

The visit gave them an opportunity to get out of the classroom and see first-hand how a live construction project operates and to learn more about the exciting careers available within the construction and civil engineering industry.

At MWT, we are passionate about promoting the industry and inspiring the next generation to get involved. Initiatives like this help encourage young people to explore future opportunities and see the wide range of skills and careers that construction can offer.

It's never too young to spark an interest, even if it's to get the opportunity to sit in a 21 tonne machine!

A big thank you to everyone involved in making the visit such a success, we hope the group enjoyed their day on site as much as we enjoyed hosting them!

Sappers Bridge - Although we still have a long way to go, we passed a major milestone last week by pouring the last of the structural concrete needed prior to bridge installation. We are currently nearing completion of formwork to the approach ramp and expect all concrete works to be finished by the end of May. There have been many challenges on this project to get it "out of the ground" but sound engineering and collaborative working with our client has allowed us to make continued progress. MWT are pleased to have sponsored Ysgol Dyffryn Nantlle with their entry in the stem Racing UK Challenge
STEM Racing UK challenges students to build their own version of an F1® team. Working in groups of 3 - 6, they design, develop, and race their miniature cars while managing every aspect of their project.
Regional events lead to national finals, and the very best earn the chance to represent their country on the global STEM stage at the Aramco STEM Racing World Finals.
The team have worked incredible hard and were so pleased to have got through to this years UK Finals.
MWT are a great believer in these sort of hands on educational challenges as they help enthuse and develop the next generation of engineers and leaders that are so important for the future of our industry.
And by the way- The car looks great- Well Done

This is Riverside Park in Llangollen, Our lads have been there since February busy constructing new ramps and paths with associated railings, handrials and picnic area seating. We will be back after Easter to lay 125ms of KBI Flexipave to the Gym equipment area . This has been an extremely wet site and at times the lads have been up to their knees in mud, they have done a great job in getting it tidied and opened ready for the Easter period. works undertaken for Denbighshire County Council.

And just like that, spring seems to have arrived at our Sappers bridge project and the lads are enjoying some dry weather for a change. The reinforced concrete structures required for bridge installation are now complete and the east approach ramp is now well underway. Masonry cladding is complete on the west abutment and the masons will soon be moving over to the East abutment. Hopefully river levels will continue to drop and we will have a nice calm river ready for new bridge installation during late May. Conwy County Borough Council
