A talk about sustainable garden design made to the Colwall Wings WI on Weds Jan 15 2020. There is never a more vital time to look at how we design, plant and maintain our gardens for future generations. Our biggest lever, available to anyone who has an outside space or can influence one is creating biodiversity from the soil up by using native or near native planting, introducing water habitats, linking our gardens to other gardens for wildlife to move, using leaf litter as mulch, not using peat, being rigorous in choosing materials that have the lowest practicable carbon cost and bringing these elements together in breath taking design forms to delight day after day.

Our Story

Originating in 1999 Garden Inspiration was set up by Christian Dowle. Coming from a strong horticulturally based background the idea was to create a bespoke business which involved developing peoples green spaces into beautiful gardens and maximising their creative potential, within their given space.

We have been involved in various RHS shows such as Chelsea and the Malvern Festivals in both Design and Construction of show gardens. The work which is carried out is high quality and we take pride in what we do, proud to be where we are today with a much larger workforce enabling us to carry out both large and small projects.

Our aim is to continue helping people make their visions of their own gardens come to life whilst focusing on niche areas such as outdoor living and sustainable construction.
