What I'm really starting to enjoy with my maintenance rounds is seeing parts of a garden getting a new lease of life.

For this one client of mine, there used to be a pond here. It got filled in but had since been left unkept.

I stripped it all back removing lots of extra growth from the decorative grass. There was Ivy that had invaded.

The area has now been bought back to minimal with the next visit focusing on turning the soil over to remove the roots.

My maintenance rounds are well underway this past month!

I've been having the pleasure of bringing these gardens back to a sense of stability. Even finding a patio area for one my clients.

🌿 Little tidy ups can make a massive difference 🌿

This front garden just needed a bit of attention to bring it back to life. We reduced and reshaped the overgrown shrubbery, opened the space back up, and gave everything a cleaner, neater look ✂️.

Sometimes it’s not about completely redesigning a garden. A simple clear up and proper maintenance can totally change the appearance and make everything feel cared for again.

This customer has now signed up for regular monthly maintenance to keep things looking sharp all year round!

Not posted much recently as have been mega busy. Had new mowing customers and my monthly maintenance is well underway 😁.

It was a WARM one today! Had all the lawns to cut and tried to beat the heat. Each job seemed to get longer to complete🥵 These are all the photos I've managed to get today 😅

- this was a new mowing customer who had their first cut done. This is now to be maintained every two weeks 👌🌿🍃

Got round to doing some of my own garden this past weekend. Recut our bottom border which wasn't serving much of a purpose.

We doubled its width and then I spent time turning the soil, softening it as much as possible and levelling.

Then added some compost and mixed in to provide some nutrients to the ground before adding plants along it.

Looking forward to seeing these take shape over the next few months.

Second visit back to this property after the initial rockery tidy-up back in October 🌿

This time the focus was on the mature Holly tree, carefully reducing the outgrowing sections by hand and beginning to bring it back into a cleaner, more balanced shape. With the tree having been topped previously, the upper growth is currently quite uneven, so today was all about encouraging a better structure and allowing the top to gradually blend back in naturally over time.

I also weeded the rockery area again, turned the spil over and planted a selection of Alpines and Heathers to start bringing some colour and life back into the bed. 🌱

This is one that will really evolve nicely with ongoing maintenance 👌

First maintenance visit for this garden and what a difference already 🌿✂️ starting off by tidying up the shrubberies.

The Euonymus Japonicus had completely taken over, crowding out the rose bush and blocking light and airflow. After a careful trim and reshape, it’s now back to a clean, manageable form and more importantly, the rose can finally breathe again 🌹

A good prune isn’t just about looks, it’s about giving plants the space and conditions they need to thrive. Looking forward to seeing how this garden develops over the coming weeks.
