Out with the blue, in with the new and wow… what a colour. Silver grey 🩶

Our team has just finished this Hörmann sectional garage door for a very happy domestic client, and the transformation speaks for itself. The old blue door has gone, replaced with a crisp silver grey finish that sits perfectly against the property and brings the whole frontage up to date.

Why a sectional door?
✔️ Opens vertically and tucks up under the ceiling, so you can park right up to it
✔️ Double-skinned insulated panels help keep the garage warmer and quieter
✔️ Smooth, quiet operation with secure locking as standard
✔️ Hörmann quality engineering, built to last for years

Like every job we do, this one was supplied and fitted by our own in-house team. No subcontractors, just experienced fitters who take pride in the finish.

Thinking about a change of colour or an upgrade from an old up-and-over? Give us a call for a free quote.

Out with the old, in with the Rollmatic’s 🔥

This domestic customer's pair of old wooden garage doors had served their time – weathered, hard work to open and doing nothing for the look of the property.

Our in-house team removed them and fitted two Hörmann RollMatic roller garage doors in anthracite grey. The difference speaks for itself: a sharp, modern look that compliments the beautiful oak framed garage 👌

Why the RollMatic?
✅ Double-walled, insulated aluminium slats for better thermal efficiency and quieter running
✅ Rolls up compactly into the opening – no swing-out, so you can park right up to the door
✅ Frees up ceiling space inside the garage
✅ Electric operation with remote control as standard
✅ Built-in safety features, including obstacle detection
✅ Anthracite grey finish that stays sharp with minimal maintenance – no sanding, staining or rot

If your timber doors are starting to sag, stick or rot, an upgrade like this is one of the quickest ways to transform the front of your home.

Family-run since 1999, award-winning Hörmann partner, and every install carried out by our own fitters – never subcontractors.

No job too big or too small 💪

Out with the tired old blue sectional. In with a brand new blue industrial roller shutter. 🔵

This industrial unit's sectional door had done its time. Our in-house fitters stripped it out and installed a heavy-duty roller shutter, colour-matched in blue to keep the building looking sharp.

The door itself:
🔹 Full-width lath curtain spanning the whole opening
🔹 Bold blue finish that ties in with the building
🔹 Heavy-duty side guides keeping the curtain straight and secure
🔹 Tough bottom rail sealing neatly down to the floor
🔹 Rolls up tight into a compact coil above the opening, freeing up internal headroom

The result? A cleaner, stronger and secure entrance, built to handle high-traffic industrial use day in, day out, with minimal maintenance.

Industrial roller shutters, commercial doors and garage doors – supplied, installed and repaired since 1999. No subcontractors. Just our own experienced team.

Another happy industrial client ✅

Time for an upgrade ⬆️

There’s nothing quite like the transformation a new garage door brings — and this one’s a beauty. We recently fitted a Hörmann RollMatic T for a domestic customer, finished in the ever-popular anthracite grey 🖤

So why the RollMatic? It’s one of the smartest choices out there for homeowners tight on space. Rather than swinging outwards or running back along your garage ceiling, the RollMatic rolls neatly up into a compact box above the opening 📦 That means you reclaim valuable ceiling space, keep your full driveway clear, and never have to worry about clearance again — ideal for shorter drives and modern homes.

The double-walled aluminium slats don’t just look sharp — they add insulation, strength and a wonderfully smooth, quiet operation you’ll appreciate every single day. Pair that with Hörmann’s renowned build quality and reliability, and you’ve got a door that’ll look and perform brilliantly for years to come ✅

Anthracite grey remains a firm favourite for good reason — that contemporary, understated finish complements just about every property style 😍

Thinking it might be time for your own upgrade? We supply, install and service across the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire and within a 100-mile radius.

Warehouse is overflowing with all these big garage door contracts! 📦

It’s a good problem to have. Right now we’re stacked floor to ceiling — and it’s mainly up-and-overs going out, every one of them booked in and waiting on an install date.

The up-and-over is still the workhorse of the garage door world, and for good reason. One solid panel that tilts up and back on a counterbalanced spring system, available on canopy gear (where the door sits proud of the opening and takes up no roof space) or retractable gear (where the whole door pulls back inside on horizontal tracks for a neater finish and easier automation).

They’re strong, simple, low maintenance, and there’s a huge range of panel styles and finishes — so whether it’s a period property or a new build estate, there’s a door that suits.

This is what a busy contract book looks like behind the scenes. Doors come in, get checked over, get matched to the job, and go straight out on the vans with our own fitting teams. No subcontractors — the same crew from survey to sign-off.

Established in 1999 and still family run — over 25 years of getting doors up, on time and done properly. UKCS and CE/UKCA approved, covering a 100-mile radius from the Forest of Dean.
Got a project coming up? Get in touch and let’s get you in the diary before it fills up any further.

Time for a colour change… 💚

Our customer fancied something a bit different, and this Chartwell Green Rivington Select side hinge door delivers exactly that. It’s a colour that’s become hugely popular on front doors — and it works just as well on the garage.

This one’s a 50/50 split configuration, meaning both leaves are equal width. It’s a great practical choice — if you’re mainly using the garage for storage, bikes, or the lawnmower, you can open just one side for quick access without swinging the whole door open. And when you do need the full width, both leaves open right back out of the way.

Side hinge doors are a brilliant option for anyone after that traditional look with modern build quality — solid, secure, and easy to operate by hand with no springs or mechanisms to worry about.

Supplied and installed by the Pro-Door team. Great work guys! 👏

Thinking about a new garage door? We supply, install, service and repair doors across Gloucestershire and beyond.

Time for the industrial side to take some of the limelight 🔧

This week the team took on a big repair job — not one but two Dynaco fast action doors, running as an automated, interlocked pair.

Here’s the clever part: these high-speed doors are set up so one won’t open until the other has fully closed. That interlock creates an airlock between the two openings, and it’s doing a serious job. It holds temperature steady across the threshold, stops warm and cold air mixing, and forms a physical barrier against vermin, dust and contaminants getting where they shouldn’t. In a temperature- and hygiene-critical environment, that’s not a nice-to-have — it’s essential.

Dynaco fast action doors are built for exactly this: rapid open-and-close cycles that minimise air exchange, a tough flexible curtain, and a tight seal that keeps the outside out. When doors like these go down it’s not just an inconvenience — it can bring an entire operation to a standstill. So getting both back up, fully automated and working in sequence again, was a great result for the client.

This is the side of what we do that doesn’t always make the highlight reel: servicing and repairing the critical industrial doors that keep businesses moving. Great work from the team 👏
