We dont post much at all,but I have had a couple of my customers contact me this week having been door knocked by so called tree surgeons touting for work, one of which claimed to be us!
Nowadays anyone with a wheelbarrow a Strimmer and a chainsaw suddenly thinks they are landscapers/tree surgeons 🙄
I've no issue with this times are hard, we are all trying to make a living and some are decent to be fair.
But a couple of people visited have been elderly and have found it unnerving and are shaken by the experience of these pushy door knockers.
we have had to go back to finish jobs that have been half finished yet paid for!
I just want to be clear that Forest Of Dean Tree Services will NEVER knock yours or anyone's door touting for work EVER! and neither will most reputable firms.
If you have a large tree capable of damaging yours or your neighbours property ensure they have insurance before they start!
NEVER pay in advance, no tree surgeon excepts money before the job is done and you are happy!
Just wanted to make people aware that this is happening for anyone with elderly or vulnerable family members because these are prime targets for these people.
Rant over 🙄
