Its hot out there!

A few days of hot weather can have a bigger impact on gardens than many people realise.

If you're trying to keep plants healthy during the heatwave:

• Water thoroughly rather than little and often
• Water early in the morning or later in the evening
• Prioritise pots, hanging baskets and newly planted shrubs
• Leave lawns a little longer to help retain moisture
• Hold off on pruning or feeding until temperatures cool down

Some drooping during the hottest part of the day is normal, but plants that haven't recovered by evening may need a good soak.

Stay cool and keep an eye on your garden over the next few days.

A little glimpse into one of our clients’ beautiful gardens.

There’s nothing better than seeing a garden thriving and full of colour as the seasons change. From perfectly maintained lawns to vibrant borders and carefully shaped planting, this space has become a real outdoor retreat for our lovely clients.

We take great pride in helping gardens look their absolute best all year round, and it’s always a pleasure to see the results come together like this.

We truly love what we do.

Giving this garden a fresh frame.

An old ivy-covered trellis was taken down and replaced with fresh posts and a new trellis. We made sure to carefully save the grapevine and get it set back up ready to grow again.

We love the finished look on this one.

Spring is well underway and it’s been a very busy start to the year for us!

With new contracts, garden clearances, and fencing projects keeping us busy, we’ve barely had a moment to catch our breath - which means our social media has taken a bit of a back seat recently.

Spring is always one of the busiest times for gardening as everything starts waking up again.

Here’s a garden clearance we undertook a few weeks ago – what a difference a new fence and fresh turf can make!

It’s been a very wet start to the year, but the snowdrops are starting to appear - a clear sign that spring isn’t far off.

We’ll soon be getting gardens ready for the season ahead.

Have you noticed any popping up yet?

Rainy days call for planting roses.

We may have got soaking wet, but the rain did all the watering for us! Days like today are the perfect condition for helping new plants settle in and thrive.
Unfortunately, it was far too wet to take any photos-but trust us, the roses are happy!

Start of a new week. January is flying by!

This apple tree had been pruned too hard in the past, so today we took a gentler approach, leaving plenty of healthy growth for fruit this summer. Proper pruning makes all the difference - and who doesn’t love an apple crumble?

We’ve been busy pruning wisteria and getting it ready for spring flowering.
This will help keep the plant healthy and encourages those beautiful cascading blooms. It’s always satisfying to prepare a garden now and know it will look amazing in just a few months!
