Today, we are proud to celebrate an incredible milestone for Richard Wood (pictured left with Managing Director Lee Cowen, right), our Technical and Estimating Director, who marks 25 years with Milbank Concrete Products.
Reaching this milestone is a remarkable achievement and reflects Richard’s loyalty, dedication and immense contribution to Milbank Concrete Products. Over the years, his technical expertise, experience and leadership have helped shape both our business and the way we deliver for our customers.
Reflecting on his time with the business, Richard said:
“Having joined the company in 2001 at the age of 17, I started in the design office, drawing beam and block ground-floor layouts by hand. I then progressed onto other products and into management roles, while continuing to work on some of the most complex projects the company has been involved in. During this time, I have seen many challenges and changes, which have kept every day interesting.
These 25 years have taught me that strength does not just come from the products, but from all the people involved in the process who bring everything together.
I’d like to thank the company, my mentors, colleagues and everyone else who has been part of the past 25 years and made the experience what it has been. Here’s to the next chapter.”
Richard’s journey is a brilliant example of the careers that can be built through commitment, hard work and a willingness to keep learning and progressing.
