Renovation update

The structural transformation is now well underway, and the difference is already huge!

The new structural steelwork is now in place, opening up the existing layout and creating one large, open-plan space.

We’ve also:;
•Formed a new doorway from the hallway
•Blocked up the existing doorway
•Broken out the brickwork beneath the existing windows ready for the new bi-fold doors
•Continued with the first-fix electrical and plumbing works

We’re now finishing off the first fix before our pre-plaster inspection. Once that’s signed off, we’ll be closing everything up and getting the walls and ceilings plastered, ready for the new kitchen installation.

A lot of work happening behind the scenes, but the finished space is really starting to take shape now!

Next stage: plastering and getting ready for the kitchen…

Bespoke Oak Pergola, Project Complete

A stunning handmade oak pergola, built with traditional craftsmanship and plenty of attention to detail.

From the hand-cut and jointed knee braces, through to the oak plugs and dowels, every element was carefully crafted to create a strong and beautiful structure.

Finished with a slate roof and leadwork, this pergola has completely transformed the garden and provides a fantastic covered outdoor space.

The project has now been handed over to the customer, ready for them to finish the oak with their chosen oil and let it naturally weather into its final character.

Sneak peek at our latest internal renovation…

We’re transforming an existing kitchen and separate dining room into one large, modern open-plan living space.

The project includes:

New kitchen
New heating system
New electrical installation
Modern aluminium-framed internal doors
New LVT flooring throughout
3 new sets of bi-fold doors

We’ve stripped out the existing kitchen, ceilings, plumbing and electrics and have now started first fix.

The next stage is the structural transformation — with new steelwork and structural openings being formed to completely open up the space.

Next update: the structural works!

Low maintenance. Clean lines. Carefully considered.

This corner plot needed a landscaping solution that was low maintenance, practical and well presented, while still keeping the area permeable and respecting the building.

We created clean, defined lines throughout, with carefully positioned gravel and planting areas, crisp edging and a new block-paved entrance path.

A few of the details that really matter on a project like this:

• Maintaining the correct levels below the damp-proof course
• Keeping the landscaping permeable
• Easy access for ongoing maintenance and window cleaning
• Neatly integrating and levelling existing manhole covers
• Clearly defining the boundaries of the corner plot
• Low-maintenance planting and gravel areas
• Clean, straight lines and crisp finishes throughout

It’s often the little details that make the biggest difference — simple, practical and properly finished.

New Oak Pergola with Matching Tiled Roof.

A bespoke oak pergola designed and built to complement the existing home, and we think the finished result looks fantastic.

Constructed using beautiful oak framing and matching oak slatted privacy screens, finished with a matching tiled roof and black rainwater goods to tie seamlessly into the existing property.

From the traditional joinery and natural character of the oak to the subtle integrated lighting, every detail has been considered to create a practical and beautiful outdoor space.

From a divided extension to a beautifully connected home.

A full kitchen, dining and snug renovation, transforming the existing layout into a bright, open and functional space designed for modern family living.

The project included:

Removal of dividing block walls within the existing extension. Reconfiguration of doors and windows to accommodate new bifold doors. Knock-through from the existing kitchen to create an open-plan living space. New utility room and shower room, including new drainage. Complete new kitchen installation. LVT flooring throughout. New flat roof to the extension. New windows and doors throughout the remainder of the house. Complete new heating system

A considered transformation, combining practical improvements with a completely refreshed look and feel.

Home Gym Conversion – Phase 2 Complete

Phase 2 is now complete, and what a transformation!

The internal fit-out has been fully completed, including new stud walls with full insulation to the floor, walls and ceiling, followed by boarding, plastering and decoration.

We installed new electrical power supplies throughout, along with feature hexagon LED lighting to give the gym a clean, modern finish.

The new bifold door has also been tinted with mirror film, creating a great feature while adding privacy and making the space feel even bigger.

To maximise the available space, we also fitted a new roller shutter door, allowing the required clearance while creating a small but practical storage area.

From the original garage to a fully finished, purpose-built home gym — the result is amazing.

Another extension complete.

This single-storey flat roof rear extension may be relatively small, but what a massive difference it makes to the house.

The new space provides a fantastic dining area and also allows for the kitchen to be extended as part of Phase 2 of the works.

Underfloor heating, tiled flooring, full decoration, second-fix electrics and second-fix carpentry — all completed and ready to enjoy.

The customer is absolutely over the moon with the quality of the finished work and the project management throughout, which is what we always aim for.
