🏢 We recently completed the installation and commissioning of a comprehensive Urmet hybrid door entry and access control system for a residential development comprising three apartment blocks.
🔐 The system combines Urmet’s 2Voice and Ipercom platforms, providing a hybrid solution across the entire site. Each of the three blocks is accessible from multiple main entrance call panels, with additional entrance panels for each individual block. Every floor is also equipped with its own bespoke engraved call panel for visitor access.
🛠️ Although the gate fabricator had included the full-length mag lock within their costs, the installation of the lock was not included in their scope of works. We therefore installed and commissioned the mag lock to ensure full integration with the access control system.
🛗 All three blocks incorporate lift access control using Urmet’s Ipercom and iPassan systems. This has been configured so that:
• Visitors can only travel to the floor of the resident they are visiting (once the resident has pressed their lock release button).
• Residents are only authorised to access their own floor.
🚪 In addition, the main building entrance is fitted with an automatic door opener, which is integrated with the iPassan access control system. The door can be released both from authorised residents’ handsets and through the building’s access control system, providing secure and convenient entry for residents and visitors.
