SEEING MAGIC IN THE ORDINARY ✨
I’ve always spotted little faces, characters and stories hiding in ordinary objects. But somewhere between babies, snacks, nappies and the general juggle of life… I stopped noticing.
Then my eldest started getting bigger, and suddenly the world began to exist again through his eyes. 🌿
Now we spot the characters together and a little quirk I once dismissed as “just being silly” has become our favourite kind of play.
It’s actually one of the reasons we created THE DRAWING ROOM because we’re two adults with serious jobs who still want a little more room for imagination, creativity and magic.
So here’s your invitation: MAKE TIME TO PLAY!
On our recent Jurassic Coast trip, I collected these little stones and painted each one as a member of our family something I try to do every summer. 🪨
No skills. No perfection. Just slowing down, noticing, imagining and having a bit of fun.
