That workshop, creative concept or little business idea you’ve been dreaming up.

You’ve planned it on paper. In your head, it’s bulletproof. But what happens when it meets REAL people, real feedback and a few unexpected curveballs?

In a world that expects everything to go VIRAL overnight, we believe there’s real value in testing, trying and tweaking before you go big.

Six months ago, we invited friends and family to test our pottery painting workshop before opening to the public.

We learned SO much. We adapted, improved and made it better. That’s the beauty of giving something a go.

Because real feedback teaches you things a perfect plan on paper never will.

So, Surrey and London creatives, makers and idea-havers… we want to give you that same opportunity.

Until 12 December, we’re waiving venue hire for selected trial workshops and creative concepts at The Drawing Room, Great Bookham.

A GENTLE REMINDER THAT YOUR PEOPLE WILL FIND YOU…👇🏼

Small Wonders: the little moments of beauty we notice when we slow down - wildlife, changing seasons, unexpected details. A gentle reminder to notice nature.

On a beautiful October Sunday, with the sunshine showing off far more than October had any right to, we headed to one of our favourite kinds of places, grounds, a picnic-style lunch and time spent with people we love.

As we wandered through the gardens at Sheffield Park, we spotted two butterflies dancing together amongst the crowds.

And it got me thinking…

No matter how big or small your circle is, your kindred spirits will find you.

The people who just “get you”, The ones you can laugh with, be completely yourself around, and enjoy the simplest things with. Sometimes they find you in the most unexpected places, and sometimes they’re already right beside you.

Much like those two butterflies 🦋 happily dancing amongst everyone else, but somehow finding each other.

Maybe that’s the little reminder: you don’t need to belong everywhere. You just need to find your people.

WORKSHOP - THE ONE WITH RACHEL GREEN

We’re taking creativity to the next level with a Saturday morning celebrating BIG personalities — and for our first icon, we chose Rachel Green. 💗

Of all the iconic 90s outfits, we kept coming back to *that* Barry’s Wedding moment. Rachel put her pride aside, stepped into the dress, took the stage and just went for it. Because there’s no point hiding behind trying to act cool. Face your fears, put yourself out there, find your kindred spirits — and if some people don’t get you, that’s OK too. You were never meant to be mainstream.

Join South African artist Diana Wilson the artist behind these incredible paper-mâché dolls, and create your own icon, yourself or simply something wonderfully you.

We believe there’s strength in doing things in the way that comes naturally to you.

We’re a small team at Studio Windsor, and with that comes trust, trusting each person to bring their own strengths, instincts and way of working to the table.

One of us is methodical.
Another is proactive.
Someone else might be the one who questions, experiments, problem-solves or sees something differently.

We don’t all work in the same way, and we don’t think we should.

Long gone are the days when a team had to fit the same mould to work well. We believe the best collaborations happen when people have the space to work authentically, are open to trying new things, aren’t afraid to admit where they have weaknesses and trust each other to fill the gaps.

Different ways of working. Different strengths.

A GENTLE REMINDER THAT SOMETIMES PATIENCE IS PART OF THE PROCESS…👇🏼

Small Wonders: The little moments of beauty we notice when we slow down - wildlife, changing seasons, unexpected details. A gentle reminder to notice nature.

On a sunny, rather summery-feeling autumn Sunday, after visiting our absolute favourite playground, Magic Garden, we wandered around the gardens at Hampton Court Palace and spotted this beautiful heron resting at the edge of the water…So we slowed right down to watch.

Patiently waiting. Watching. Ready to dive into action the second the moment was right.

It made us think about how often we feel like we need to rush towards the thing we want, when sometimes catching the big things requires a little patience. Maybe there’s something to be said for being still, keeping your eyes open and trusting that the right moment will come.
