🍁 Autumn has a way of reminding you how useful a good entrance really is.

A bespoke oak-framed porch creates a proper weather break before you step inside, with space for muddy boots, coats, bags and all the things that come with everyday life.

Practical, welcoming and full of character, it’s a small addition that can make a big difference to how your home works.

There's a lot that happens between deciding to work with us and having you finished frame.

But it's less complicated that most think.

Here's exactly what happens.

Most people don't know there's a grading system for Oak.

Even less people know that the 'Top' grade isn't necessarily the best for Oak Framing

QP1 is what we use because the knots and grain movement give the beams character. They look more natural and beautiful, and still meet the structural requirements for the frame.

Do you want an extension that gives you the space you need, but still feels beautiful, considered and full of character?

An oak frame extension can do more than add extra room. It can bring in light, create a stronger connection to the garden and become a feature you enjoy every day.

Designed well, it should feel like a natural part of your home, not just an addition.

Good photography, expensive marketing or a flashing website may be nice to look at.

But a companies reputation and customer service is one of the most important factors to consider when collecting quotes. The great thing is this is easy to find.

If an Oak Frame company isn't forthcoming or open about their customer reviews then there's probably a reason for that.

We're open and proud about what our customers say about us.
