Jane of Bardon Rd Coalville, this is the renewal of her safety certificate. The first time I swept this stove had me sweating, the 2nd sweep was no easier. What a challenge this stove Is to maintain. Full strip out of internal bricks to get to the flue. And then putting it back in all the correct order. Wow. Definitely a challenge but always a privilege to be asked back to a job. We AJ Sweeps Chimney Solutions accept the challenge and with every job take pride in what we do. Jane. We look forward to seeing you and that stove again next year... Good afternoon everyone, hope everyone’s enjoying the heatwave.
Id just like to share with you all a couple recent chimneys weve swept and how much soot came out, id like to point out that soot is very corrosive and can damage the grout of a chimney Breast over time causing damage that can be very expensive to fix, especially if you have a flu liner into a wood burning stove it will dramatically reduce the life expectancy of your flu.
As we are all enjoying the English weather now is the perfect time to get your assets swept and cleaned 🧹.

Hello everyone. Thought I'd share this little video, we was asked to sweep 2 chimneys at the same property with 2 possible birds nests..and then install 2 bird guard rain caps... only 1 had a nest. I couldn't break through from the bottom so I went upto the chimney top,this is what I found. So. We instantly stopped work on this particular chimney, the mother was dive bombing me the chick's were crying and looked hungry AJ Sweeps Chimney Solutions . We care. We will return once the chick's have fled the nest. We will then remove the best and seal it from any future bird nest problems. This is a Recent install we have completed last week in Newbold Coleorton using building control to gain a safe install certificate, we also got the pleasure of installing a new chimney pot and replacing the flaunching, leaving our signature mark in all the flaunching we do,
