🌹Once overgrown, this new build garden is now a welcoming, practical space. Featuring a natural Raj coloured sandstone patio for dining and relaxing, a new lawn for open green space, and bespoke raised timber beds with golden gravel that add structure and planting potential.

A balanced blend of hard and soft landscaping makes the most of the space, turning it into a true outdoor retreat.

A beautiful natural sandstone transformation in Bashall Eaves.

We’ve completely removed the old paved area and created this large natural sandstone patio, giving the property a generous outdoor space that feels much more in keeping with the character of the house and its beautiful rural setting.

One of my favourite details is the mixed-size flag layout. Rather than using a repetitive single-size format, the different proportions of sandstone create a feature in their own right, adding movement and visual interest.
The natural variation in the stone — soft greys, warm browns and subtle pink and green tones — looks particularly lovely and works beautifully alongside the traditional stonework of the property.

A huge change from where we started, and now a proper space from which to enjoy those rather spectacular Ribble Valley views. ❤️

🌹 A small garden transformation with a big impact 🌿

This compact space has been thoughtfully designed to turn a previously unused area of garden into a practical, welcoming patio.

Natural Kandla grey sandstone paving has been framed by timber sleepers including a feature back row where we cut them into vertical ‘soldiers’

A lovely example of how even a smaller project can completely change the way a garden looks and feels.
