Great to see that we have secured planning approval for the conversion of an existing garage into extended kitchen/dining/living space.

This small alteration to this dwelling makes all the difference as to how the home will be used and experienced by the occupants.

Materials and architectural language have taken cues from the existing and surrounding context to rise the overall level of design and desirability in the immediate and local area.

We don’t just do one off eco homes, we like the challenge of making existing spaces work well too.

For those that didn’t know…. Roger used to be a builder!!!

This is a picture from 2003(ish), taken for a work evidence portfolio.

This is why when Roger is on-site talking with contractors, you can rest assured that he really does know what is going on!!

Roger uses this invaluable insight throughout the practice to ensure build ability is of upmost importance. Pointless having an amazing set of plans and visuals if it can’t be built… or comply with current regulations(it happens).

He knows that things have to explained and delivered in a way that is easy to understand on a wet and wind day, stood on a scaffold with deadlines looming. You only get that sort of understanding from experience!!!

Did you know that we are based in Clitheroe, Lancashire in the North West?

Did you also know that we have clients all over the North West and further afield?

We also have clients within Chester and Liverpool. Why did we tell you this you may ask... Well, it's because if COVID taught us one thing, it's that we can now effectively communicate with project teams via electronic communication.

Trust me, I have personally walked around a construction site via a contractor's smartphone helping to solve problems and resolving issues as if we were actually there onsite!
