The UK Government have allocated £500 million to local authorities throughout the UK.

The Local Authority Delivery (LAD) scheme is part of the UK Government’s pledge to reach net-zero by 2050. The scheme is designed to help phase out the need for fossil fuel heating systems and to reduce fuel poverty.

The UK Government have allocated £500 million to local authorities throughout the UK. The Local Authority Delivery scheme (LAD) has been designed to help improve energy efficiency of low-income households.

The LAD scheme aims to raise the energy efficiency of low energy performance homes of people with low income. These are being focussed on homes with an energy performance certificate (EPC) ratings of E, F or G.
