After a lengthy planning process we finally received planning permission last month for an extension to a farmhouse and conversion of a barn into two houses in Balderstone. The sensitive alterations utilised existing openings as far as possible to retain the existing agricultural character. Alterations to the site access and a new second access were also secured as part of the permission

We were recently commissioned to carry out a design appraisal for this farmhouse in Clayton-le-dale. The result brought about significant improvements to an awkward historic layout, an impressive extension to accommodate a large ground floor open plan living area and master bedroom suite at first floor with external balcony facing Pendle Hill. Fingers crossed for planning approval in the coming weeks.
