From uncertainty to opportunity: Daniel’s story, told by The Telegraph. 🌟
Bagnalls’ own Daniel Mottram recently appeared in The Telegraph, sharing his experience of trying to start a career after graduating with a History degree.
Like many graduates, Daniel found himself facing a frustrating reality. Despite earning his degree, many of the roles he was interested in required experience that he simply hadn't had the chance to gain.
"I couldn’t see any jobs relevant to my degree. The majority of them wanted you to have experience working in the field, which obviously when you’ve just been at university you’re not going to have."
Rather than letting this setback define him, Daniel looked for a different route. That's where Bagnalls' Management Traineeship provided the opportunity he had been searching for.
Our programme is designed to help talented people build a career, regardless of their background or previous experience. By learning on the job, gaining industry qualifications and earning from day one, Daniel was able to turn uncertainty into a clear path forward.
"Now, I look forward to going to work and I’m striving towards something. Even if you don’t have any experience, you quickly adapt."
His story is a reminder that there isn't always one set path to success.
We're incredibly proud of Daniel and everything he has achieved so far. 👏
