🐑🐄 CIRENCESTER MARKET - THURSDAY 15TH OCTOBER 2026 🐄🐑

➡️ Sale of Prime and Store Lambs & Hoggets, Cull Ewes, Beef Cattle and Barren Cows

🐑 Trade has firmed slightly this week across most centres. Best quality lambs anticipated to trade around 320-340p/kg. A good entry required but meat being essential on all weights. Handweight lambs the easiest to place, heavier lambs becoming slightly harder work.

Store lambs a remarkable trade and worth considering selling. Good entries required with good buying demand currently.

Cull Ewes continue to be a good trade. Good numbers needed again for tomorrow’s sale.

🐄 A good entry of prime cattle and Barren Cows required. All breeds, ages and types saleable at Cirencester Livestock Market.

💥 Overall average £1,706 or 347p/kg

🏅 Top price per head being £2,680 for a Pair of Aberdeen Angus X Steers (36 months) from N J Pearson & Son.

🏅 Top price per kg going a pen of 5x Aberdeen Angus X Steers (7 months) selling at 433p/kg (£1,430) from S Best.
