It’s going up! 🧱🏡

Our 📍Bourton-on-the-Water project is really starting to come together nicely now.

We’ve been busy installing the block and beam flooring, with the masonry and stonework now well underway. The existing extension has also been removed, making way for the new and improved space.

This week we’ll be getting started on the steel beams and roof construction, with the aim of getting this one watertight as soon as possible 🔨🏠

Another exciting project taking shape — more updates to follow as we progress!

🏡 Another busy week at Cotswold Construction🔨

This week we’ve headed back to our project in 📍Bourton-on-the-Water to start setting this one out. With the steel wind posts now on site, you can really start to see the shape of the extension coming together and the additional space it will create for this beautiful family home. 👌

We’ve also managed to squeeze in a few smaller jobs along the way.
We have replaced the old timber front door with a traditional looking UPVC door and screen for a neighbour of ours, whilst continuing to work hard on our 📍Golden Farm Road exterior renovation project. There is plenty more to come on this one, now the roof is compete with rendering due to start in the coming weeks. 🧱✨

Another productive week for the team, and plenty more to follow! 💪

We’re very excited to have broken ground this week on our latest project in 📍Bourton-on-the-Water! 🔨

A great start to the build with:
✅ Patio removed
✅ Excavations completed
✅ Concrete installed

A massive thank you, as always, to P and A Haulage LTD for removing all the soil from site, and Monster Mix Concrete for another fantastic service. It’s always a pleasure working alongside such reliable teams. 👌

While we wait for our steel beams and wind posts to arrive later this week, we’ll be getting everything set out ready to start bringing this beautiful new addition to life.

🤩The last few weeks have seen us completing a couple of smaller projects that make a big difference to your home and the way you live🤩

📍🏡 Alexander Drive
We installed two Velux windows to add more natural light into a beautiful dining room.

📍🏡 Kingshill
We removed a rotten flat roof and replaced it with a new pitched timber roof, complimented with Double Roman tiles and new uPVC fascia. .

I think you will agree, some small changes are totally worth while

🤩We’re excited to share this one as we finish off the week – another project we’re incredibly proud of here at Cotswold Construction🤩

This stunning double-storey extension, complete with a brand-new en-suite and downstairs WC, has been finished in a beautiful cream Oslo render, giving it a timeless and elegant finish.

The black windows and doors perfectly complement the beautiful oak internal features, while the stainless steel switches and sockets complete the home with a clean, modern feel.

Most importantly, we’ve created a space where this family can enjoy many years of making memories together. It’s been a pleasure bringing their vision to life.

🏡 Sometimes it’s the small, simplest jobs that make the biggest difference to the way we live.

You may remember we knocked down this old, unused extension due to subsidence. We’ve now transformed this unused corner of the garage into a practical new washing and drying area.

🔨 Works completed:
✅ New walls built using the existing stone
✅ New Bath stone copings with a rubber roof finish
✅ New white uPVC personnel door fitted
✅ Plasterboard finish throughout
✅ New electrics and consumer unit installed
✅ New closed board fencing

A great example of turning an unused space into something practical and useful.

👀 Keep an eye out next week for the big reveal of our 📍Golden Farm Road project.
It’s looking absolutely stunning inside and out, and we can’t wait to share the finished result with you!

This week has seen us finishing off a few of the smaller jobs we regularly get asked to do, while also getting started on a new project.

We’ve begun dismantling this extension, which has suffered from subsidence, ready for us to start the main works next week.

🏡 Porch canopy completed and attached to our current project.
