Hello everyone, I’m back from Australia after three years and back to the grind!
I had a really nice time and learnt about some amazing new products and techniques from all around the world that I’m hoping to offer you back home here I n the uk.
Micro cement
Micro cement is a decorative, polymer-modified cement coating that creates a continuous, seamless surface on floors, walls, and furniture. It consists of several thin layers of a mixture of cement, fine aggregates, and liquid polymers, applied with a trowel to achieve a polished concrete look with a durable and %100 waterproof and heat resistant. Micro cement can go over existing bathroom tiles,timber,marble,concrete and much more it also comes in any color desirable.
Chukum:
Chukum construction originated in Mexico, with the first recorded use of this method coming from the Maya civilization. The Maya people used chukum construction to build their homes, temples, and other structures.
This method then continued to be used by the Aztecs after the fall of the Maya civilization.Chukum construction begins with the sap of the chukum tree. This sap is collected, boiled twice, and mixed with cement. The chukum paste creates a waterproof barrier that helps to protect the underlying structure from water damage. It also helps to insulate the structure from extreme temperatures. Chukum is also a eco friendly product that can be finished in smooth or a textured finish in any color for interior and exterior. Maybe your be the first person in the uk to have this beautiful product in your house ?
Clay:
Clay plaster is a breathable, non-toxic, and eco-friendly wall finish made from a mixture of unfired clay, sand, and natural fibers like straw. Unlike cement or gypsum plasters, clay plasters cure by drying, not by a chemical reaction, which makes them highly sustainable and recyclable. Clay plaster also Regulates humidity and improves air quality, Absorbs toxins and odors,low carbon footprint, acoustic properties and is very unique, this also comes in multiple colors and finishes, Great for interior and exterior.
Lime plaster:
Lime plaster is a durable, breathable wall coating made from a mixture of lime, sand, and water. In use for thousands of years, it is known for its flexibility and natural ability to regulate moisture, which helps prevent damp problems in older buildings,i’m also offering this product in custom in house made colors with you the client.
