This property has had so much poor work done to it in the past so we had to do a lot to this one to make it water tight ...

This property has had so much poor work done to it in the past so we had to do a lot to this one to make it water tight we larch lap top half because of concrete ring beam and very poor block work all windows were terribly fitted sort those out bottom half hot lime mortar with multiple layers of lime cast and chimney a rebuild

So we come across this problem all the time badly fitted windows the reveal were sand and cement very thick which we can't really achieve with lime so best solution is to scribe some timber down the sides so the lime mortar can be at appropriate thickness

So working on this lovely house repointing and as usual thrown up few problems the window were made smaller 60 ish with ...

So working on this lovely house repointing and as usual thrown up few problems the window were made smaller 60 ish with some nasty builds on the sides with cement the around 20 years ago had replaced shash windows using foam one of the quickest ways to not make your windows last a lintel need changing put new oak one in but adze first some photos so far
