From tired and rottenโ€ฆ to clean and solid.

This garden door had completely gone at the bottom, years of weather had taken its toll. We stripped it back and built a new arched, ledged & braced door from scratch to suit the opening properly.

Finished in a soft, fresh tone to lift the whole space, just in time for summer.

These French doors were a tricky install. A bespoke build was needed to fit the irregular space. At an elevated position and vulnerable to the weather, they had rotted at the base.

Loved creating this bespoke finial for a historic building in Mid-Wales. The project involved wood turning, hand carving and detailed proportions.

This is a one-off, bespoke wardrobe. Designed around the room, not pulled from a catalogue. The layout, the sizes, the details โ€“ all built to suit the client, not the other way round.

๐Ÿ”จThatโ€™s the big difference with custom work. Large companies have to work to set sizes and standard units because theyโ€™re geared up for volume. As an independent carpenters, we donโ€™t have those limits. If a space needs to be 300mm one side and 1000mm the other, thatโ€™s what it is. If you want shelves exactly where you use them, drawers sized for what you actually store, or doors proportioned properly for the room, we can do that.

We also donโ€™t carry the overheads of a big company; showrooms, sales teams, layers of admin โ€“ so youโ€™re not paying for all that. Youโ€™re paying for materials, skill, and time. The result is something genuinely unique, made properly, and often at a better price than youโ€™d expect for bespoke.

If youโ€™ve got an awkward space, a specific idea, or you just want something that isnโ€™t โ€œoff the shelfโ€, thatโ€™s the kind of work we love doing. ๐Ÿ‘
