In 2021 we converted a ground floor utility room into a two storey self-contained annexe space / “Granny flat" to allow for a multi generational living space for this family. Simple, straightforward extension that created a real difference for this family.

Unbelievably 4 years has gone by without an update on our page - where has the time gone? Teign Construction has been super busy these last few years with a variety of extensions (both single and double storey), high end renovations of a barn conversion, full house renovations, bathroom / kitchen updates, outside space creations including beautiful pergola designs and builds. Ben and his team quietly go around the Teign Valley helping clients create their beautiful homes - it's time again to showcase what we've been up to!

One of our latest projects, a basement garage converted into a beautiful holiday apartment. The owners of The Hutch and The Burrow Devon asked Ben and his team to undertake the conversion work at The Burrow, and they have then furnished it beautifully. What a stunning place for a holiday! Work in progress!

We've started this week on a conversion of a garage into what will be beautiful holiday accommodation called "The Burrow". When completed this will be a lovely neighbour to The Hutch Devon and will be a stunning place to stay for holidays. Imagine waking up to these views....

This is a new FB page and in order to get it set up we've spent a lot of time looking over the past projects that Ben and the team have completed. It's been great to see how much people's homes have changed as a result of the team's hard work. It's also meant that we've received some really fantastic testimonials such as the one below. We're really pleased to be given the opportunity to work with our clients to ensure they achieve the space they want or need.

"Our contract with Teign Construction was an excellent piece of building work. Coming from the construction industry I was conscious of the issues which might arise in our contract. The build was very intrusive into our house and life, but handled extremely well and sensitively, by Ben and his team. The quality of work could not be faulted and was carried out in a professional manner, to a high quality, completed in the agreed time scale and at the tendered cost. Ben had good personal control over the works of any sub-contractors, which is essential to a good outcome.

This was a beautiful house to work on. A complete renovation was required to bring this home up to a very high standard suitable for an exclusive, high end holiday letting company. New kitchen, bathrooms, new flooring throughout. Patched lime rendered where needed.
The bathroom is still one of the most beautiful I've seen...

This was a small extension project, added to the front of the client's house to allow for a bigger kitchen space.
