On the 8/9th September 2023 a team of Colleagues from DHS will take on the daunting challenge of climbing the NATIONAL 3 PEAK, the 3 highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales in just 24 hours, sleeping only on the minibus whilst driving in between each Mountain. The 3 Peaks consists of 26 miles (42km) total horizontal distance, 3,000m (9,843ft) of vertical ascent.
Climbing just one of these mountains can be challenging enough but
climbing them back to back with only a few hours rest, cramped in a minibus is a going to be a huge test for all involved.
They take on this challenge in support of Teenage Cancer
Trust and the Highbourne’s Group’s commitment to support an amazing, worthwhile charity. Teenage Cancer Trust offers unique care and support, designed for and with young people. They fund specialised nurses, youth workers and Hospital Units in the NHS, so young people have dedicated staff and facilities to support them throughout treatment.
