Company Update | Progression News

We’re delighted to announce that Matthew Carter has officially been promoted to New Lift Sales Consultant at New Lift Solutions.

Matt is pictured here signing his new agreement with our Managing Director , Nick Beetson , following his successful application and progression into the role.

This is a brilliant example of genuine internal development. Matt joined us in an administrative/sales support role and has shown the effort, attitude and ambition needed to take the next step. He has earned this opportunity, and we’re proud to see him progress into becoming a key part of the future of our sales team.

His new role will see him working closely with our clients, consultants and contractors as we continue to grow our presence across lift installations, replacements and modernisation projects.

In true football transfer style, and as a huge fan, it only felt right to mark the moment properly…

Great progress on site in North London.

New Lift Solutions are currently installing passenger lifts across a new mixed-use commercial and apartment development, with six blocks being built in total.

The first lift is now complete and ready for test, marking a strong step forward on what is an exciting project for both our team and our client.

This is exactly the type of development we are built for: planned properly, delivered safely, and installed with long-term reliability in mind.

We are also in a strong position to continue supporting this client on future schemes, with further projects currently being tendered.

A solid start, and plenty more to come.

We’re delighted to officially welcome Gill Hill to the New Lift Solutions team.

Gill joined us in April as our Projects and Operations Advisor and has already settled in extremely well, bringing with her a huge amount of knowledge, structure and industry experience.

With over 40 years in the lift industry, Gill’s background speaks for itself. Her experience across project delivery, contract management, operational processes and compliance is already helping us strengthen the way we work as a business.

Since joining, Gill has been supporting us with improving internal processes, developing better efficiencies, and helping us ensure our management and compliance standards continue to grow in line with the direction of the company.

We’re genuinely grateful for the trust Gill has placed in us and for sharing our vision as we continue to build New Lift Solutions into a stronger, more structured and forward-thinking business.

Full steam ahead in the heart of Harrogate.

New Lift Solutions are currently carrying out a full lift modernisation within a busy hotel environment, with the works carefully planned to be completed in time for the Yorkshire Show.

This is a time-sensitive project in a live operational building, which means planning, coordination and precision are absolutely key. From site logistics and safety controls through to installation quality and programme management, every stage has to be carefully considered.

The project is being delivered to a consultant specification, incorporating high-end lift equipment and a detailed modernisation package designed to improve performance, reliability and the overall user experience.

Working in operational buildings requires more than just technical ability. It requires communication, control, respect for the environment and a team that understands the importance of getting the job done properly, safely and on time.

We are ready, focused and moving forward at pace.

Project Complete | NLS Prime Installation for Calderdale Council

We are pleased to share the successful completion and handover of our latest NLS Prime lift installation for Calderdale Council.

This project was delivered to consultant specifications and focused on improving the usability, accessibility and long-term performance of the building’s lift provision.

As part of the works, the existing entrances were opened up to allow the installation of new 3-panel side opening 900mm doors, supplied by . This has provided a more practical and accessible entrance arrangement for users, helping to bring the lift in line with the needs of the building.

The lift package was supplied by , with the project successfully managed by John White on behalf of New Lift Solutions supported by Courtney Taylor.

Our scope was delivered as a full turnkey package, including:

* Full lift replacement of exisitng inefficient hydraulic lift with the installation of the NLS Prime package
* Builder’s works to adapt and prepare the existing shaft
* New entrance formations to accommodate increased door opening widths
* Principal Contractor responsibilities
* Coordination with consultants, suppliers and site stakeholders
* Testing, commissioning and putting the lift safely into service

The result is a fully operational lift installation that improves access, supports the building’s continued use and provides Council with a modern, reliable and practical lift solution.

With the lift now in service, all that remains is a lick of paint to the landing areas and the building will have been fully restored following the works.

A strong project delivered by the NLS team, with thanks to everyone involved in bringing it through to completion.

This week we held our first joint team meet and greet with Academy Lifts, bringing both companies together over a meal to properly introduce the teams and start building as one group.

For New Lift Solutions, our core focus remains on capital lift projects, including new lift installations, lift replacements and modernisation schemes.

Alongside this, Academy Lifts provides the ongoing support that clients need after the project is complete, including maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and aftercare.

Together, the two companies now provide a full-circle lift solution — from design, planning and installation, through to service, support and long-term asset care.

This joint approach strengthens both businesses and gives our clients access to a wider team, greater experience and a joined-up service across every stage of a lift’s lifecycle.

A great first meeting, a strong team culture forming, and a very positive step forward for both companies.

It’s been a busy period for both New Lift Solutions.

We’re seeing a steady increase in enquiries across installation, modernisation and maintenance, and more importantly we’re converting the right work at a strong rate.

Our focus has been simple. Deliver well, keep clients informed and do what we say we’re going to do. That’s leading to repeat projects, ongoing relationships and a growing presence across our core regions.

We’re continuing to expand in the right areas, while supporting existing clients with long term maintenance and lift upgrades.

Plenty more in the pipeline and a strong position going into the rest of the year.
