𝗔 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 💙

Mark and John, colleagues working on our SP Energy Networks framework, recently spent their community day supporting St Peter's Church in Galashiels.

Together they cleared an overgrown section of the church grounds, creating a safer and more welcoming space for visitors and members of the local community.

The transformation was so well received that the church shared the story with local newspapers to showcase the positive impact of the work.

We're proud to be celebrating a double shortlisting in the Water Project Award category, recognising two projects that are helping to deliver more resilient and sustainable infrastructure.

The Aghanloo Wastewater Treatment Works upgrade, delivered as part of DLJ Water LTD for Northern Ireland Water demonstrates how nature-based solutions can improve wastewater treatment performance while reducing operational impact.

Meanwhile, the Strelley to Redhill Trunk Main project, delivered for Severn Trent strengthening water supply resilience and providing long-term benefits for customers and communities.

These shortlistings reflect the expertise, innovation and collaboration shown by our teams, clients, partners and supply chain colleagues throughout both projects.

Our team working on the SP Energy Networks framework in Mid Wales recently spent a community volunteering day helping the Ruthin Scout Group restore a woodland area that had become overgrown and unsafe.

By clearing paths, removing hazards and improving access throughout the site, the team helped create a safer space for local Scouts to enjoy outdoor activities, learning and adventure once again.

A fantastic example of colleagues using their time and skills to support the communities where we work. 👏

With 180 interviews taking place in a single day, the event connected candidates with employers from across the construction and infrastructure sector.

Our team recently joined at a customer drop-in event in Barlborough, where residents had the opportunity to learn more about the Hathersage to Worksop pipeline project, ask questions and meet the people delivering the scheme.

Alongside project updates, discussions focused on future opportunities for our teams to support local schools, community groups and educational activities.

Thanks to everyone who came along and made the event such a success.
