Just before RHS Chelsea this year, our young landscape apprentices received some fantastic news: Jonny and Toby both passed their Level 2 Landscape Construction Operative Apprenticeship at Myerscough College.

This is a fantastic achievement for both of them and we are very proud. Jonny worked at RHS Chelsea on the Killik Barn, and Toby worked on the Royal Windsor Flower Show 'Plants with Purpose' Garden. It's great to see all their hard work paying off and we are behind them every step of the way.

and have been planning the relocation of the Boodles Garden long before the start of the build. The garden is being repurposed in a number of ways.

The garden pavilion and selected plants have already been relocated to The Elms, the first women-only detox facility in the UK developed by drug and alcohol charity one of charity partners.

Situated in the Worcestershire/Gloucestershire countryside, it will be a safe, psychologically-informed space where women can recover from drug and alcohol dependency with specialist clinical care, holistic support, and dignity. Catherine and Boodles are working closely with Historic Royal Palaces to ensure the spirit and magic of the garden will live on in its new environment. The garden is being constructed by

The plants, trees, topiary and some hard materials will be reused in the RHS Royal Legacy Garden that Catherine is creating for the new RHS Sandringham Flower Show, before final relocation within the ornamental gardens at the Sandringham Estate. Once again, Catherine will be working with for the show garden installation and the Landform Team on planting. We look forward to sharing the final garden realisations with you soon.

This year at RHS Chelsea, both our designers and worked with weaver to create the bespoke bird and insect habitats seen on the & Gardens.

As a Norfolk-based artisan, Karen Bek was also chosen by .glasshouse.collective to display her work alongside members and guest artisans in the RHS Chelsea 2026 Killik Barn – designed by – demonstrating her weaving techniques and to show some of the baskets she produces.

Karen will work with Catherine again at RHS Sandringham later this summer.

A highlight of the Garden 2026, were the three bespoke pots from which Catherine designed, taking inspiration from the Ogee roof on turrets found at Hampton Court Palace and the White Tower at Tower of London. (Scroll to see photos of the inspiration, shown here with kind permission from Historic Royal Palaces).

Developed in consultation with Hylton Hugo and then crafted by him & the team at Torc Pots, the pots were given a bespoke colour finish to tone with the metalcraft on the garden and link to the lead finishes of the roofs.

We think they are stunning pots and they were popular with visitors to the garden, who had lots of questions about them. Who knows – perhaps this will be a new line at Torc Pots!
