A highlight of the Garden 2026, were the three bespoke pots from which Catherine designed, taking inspiration from the Ogee roof on turrets found at Hampton Court Palace and the White Tower at Tower of London. (Scroll to see photos of the inspiration, shown here with kind permission from Historic Royal Palaces).

Developed in consultation with Hylton Hugo and then crafted by him & the team at Torc Pots, the pots were given a bespoke colour finish to tone with the metalcraft on the garden and link to the lead finishes of the roofs.

We think they are stunning pots and they were popular with visitors to the garden, who had lots of questions about them. Who knows – perhaps this will be a new line at Torc Pots!

Take another look at the Garden, in association with designed by in these stunning photos taken by 📷

He’s captured so many of the fascinating details on the garden: the jewel-coloured planting combinations, the castellated stonework; the exquisite detail of the painted ceiling and pavillion structure - which echoes the Picnic Room at Queen Charlotte’s Cottage at Kew Palace; and the inverted, Ogee turret-shaped pots.

Drawing inspiration from the iconic details found across Historic Royal Palaces’ landmark sites, two fabrics, crafted into accent cushions from the GP&J Baker x Historic Royal Palaces collection bring the garden’s theme to life. From the painterly florals of Queen’s Garden Velvet in Jade, inspired by an 18th-century gentleman’s courtier coat to the jewel-toned richness of King’s Velvet in Emerald, reminiscent of the stained-glass windows found across the royal palaces, this collection showcases the opulent interiors of Historic Royal Palaces’ portfolio.
