At the end of August, our fantastic team visited a client in Chippenham to install an Eleven Energy battery storage system, designed to complement their existing solar installation and help them make even better use of their energy.

Earlier this month, our team completed another fantastic installation, this time in the town of Street.

The system includes:

☀️ 10 × Trina Vertex S+ 450W solar panels
⚡ Fox ESS H1 G2 3.68kW hybrid inverter
🔋 Fox ESS EP2 Plus 11.52kWh battery storage

So, what does all that mean for the homeowner?

The solar panels generate electricity from daylight, helping power the home without having to buy as much electricity from the grid.

The hybrid inverter is essentially the brains of the system. It manages the electricity being produced by the panels and directs it where it’s needed — either to power the home, charge the battery, or export any surplus electricity.

And the 11.52kWh battery stores excess solar energy produced during the day, so it can be used later when the sun has gone down. 🌙🔋 This means the homeowner can make much more use of their own solar energy rather than sending it away and then buying electricity back from the grid later.

Based on the customer's individual energy usage, this system is expected to reduce their reliance on the electricity grid by around 80%. 🙌

That figure is specific to this customer and their usage habits — everyone’s potential savings and level of grid independence will be different depending on how much electricity they use and when they use it.

The result? More of their electricity can come from their own solar system, less reliance on the grid, and greater control over when they use the energy they generate. ☀️🏡

Earlier this month, our amazing team completed another installation in the lovely village of Great Cheverell.

Our fabulous team completed an in-roof solar install at the beginning of September.

This install features 15 x 460W Panels, a Fox ESS 5.0kW Hybrid Inverter and 11.52kWh battery meaning our customer is on their way to saving big energy and money on their electricity bills.

A couple of weeks ago, we revisited a customer to upgrade their existing solar and battery storage setup, replacing their old system with a new Tesla solution.

The customer had previously been using a different renewable energy brand, but with the company having since gone out of business, they were looking for a reliable, long-term alternative with strong manufacturer support and a proven track record.

We installed a complete Tesla Energy system, including an 11 kW Tesla Inverter, Tesla Gateway and Powerwall 3, alongside a DC Expansion Pack to increase the home's available energy storage capacity.

The new setup provides the customer with a modern, fully integrated energy storage solution, giving them greater control over how they generate, store and use their electricity. The Powerwall 3 also provides seamless backup protection, helping keep essential appliances running in the event of a power cut.

Another polished installation completed last week by our fabulous team in Swindon. 🌞

This install features 14 x 450w Panels, a Fox ESS 6kW Hybrid Inverter and 2 Fox ESS EP12 Plus 11.52kWh batteries.

That's a 6.3kW PV system with 23kWh battery storage and an estimated first year savings of £1,219. This entire system is estimated to reduce reliance on the grid by 77% allowing our clients to save a whopping £924 on their energy bills.

To kick this month off we completed an install on a client's house in Corsham and our team has done an excellent job.

This system features 18 x 515W Eurener Nexa panels, a Fox ESS 11.52kWh battery, and backup box, delivering a 9.27kW PV system.

We expect the system to generate around 6,912 kWh of clean electricity each year, saving approximately 1,404kg of CO₂ annually — helping our client take a big step towards a greener future 🌱

With the battery system in place, we expect around 80% reduction in grid dependence, meaning the client’s electricity bills could fall by up to 80% (depending on usage, tariff, and solar generation).

Any excess energy produced will be exported back to the grid, with an estimated first-year export return of around £320.

Another great step towards energy independence and lower bills for our customer, a win-win scenario.
